After the end of afternoon session, around 18:00, a Welcome Aperitif will be offered to the participants of the Workshop in a reception room at CNRS.

 
Visit of the Musée d'Orsay and Dinner
Thursday, March 10th

The social program will take place in the dramatic setting of the Musée d'Orsay, along the Seine river left bank in the 7th arrondissement. The Musée, is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay a 19th century railway station. Displayed artworks in painting, sculpture, architecture and photography cover the second half of the 19th century up to the beginning of the 20th century. The Musée d'Orsay possesses the world's largest collection of impressionist paintings.
Guided tours will be available for the Workshop participants and their families to discover the Masterpieces of the Musée. Interested participants should meet at the entrance of the Museum at 18:30. The tour lasts an hour and a half. It is also possible to visit the Musée on one's own.

 

After the visit, the workshop banquet will be held in the Restaurant of the Musée d'Orsay. A light aperitif will be served around 20:30 and dinner will follow.
The menu will offer traditional French cuisine, highlighted by original ideas from the chef Yann Landureau.


A special menu has been arranged for vegetarians.
 
The cost of the banquet is included in the registration fee. For accompanying guests cost will be 35 € per person.
