| Two-component model for the axial form factor of the nucleon |

A simple phenomenological parametrization for the axial nucleon form factor, in space-like and time-like regions is suggested. A good fit on the available data, with a minimal number of parameters is obtained. The present description of the nucleon structure is based on a compact core, surrounded by an axial meson cloud. |
