Intra-operative recognition of urological cancers: what is missing?

Often, when we perform surgery for cancer, we have to rely upon pre-operative information that are most often not adapted to the anatomic level or insufficient for adequate excision of the cancer while preserving surrounding structures.

 

 

The goal of this presentation is to share with extra-medical world scientists, the current limits of oncologic surgery, particularly in urology, and question means to break them toward the next ones.
