COAST associated projects
The COAST members are working on ANR projects ( financed by the french Agence Nationale de la Recherche ), like projects Horizon, Magnet or Sinerghy; they are also involved in the european grant project 'Stars2' and in the french inter-labs collaboration Odalisc.
These collaborations allow the COAST members to share expertise in different domain of astrophysics, geophysics or plasma physics with physicists or engineers coming from other laboratories and scientific communities.
Resources can also be put together, either for hardware or for software: tools are developed and used in common especially for data handling, databases and visualization.
The HORIZON project
The COAST team is involved in the Horizon project, with several french laboratories from CEA, CNRS, INSU, IAP and more..
Objectives: Applied mathematics for galaxy creation, distributed calculations and parallel programming, databases and virtual observatories, physical process

The MAGNET project
The MAGNET collaboration is a 4-years ANR project involving the LRA (Laboratoire de Radio-Astronomie) of the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris), the DAPNIA/SAp from Saclay and the CETP (Centre d'étude des Environnements Terrestre et Planétaires, CNRS).
