More and more, computations are playing an important role in the theory and design of high intensities linacs. In the context, the CEA/Saclay has been and is involved in several High power particles accelerators projects (SNS, ESS, IFMIF, EURISOL, SPL) and high intensities injectors (IPHI, SPIRAL2, LEDA). Other the past years, several codes have been developed to design and simulate these accelerators from the extraction system of the ion source to the target. Depending on the energy range, different codes can be used as it is described in the figure below :

*means that only the extraction system can be simulated in case of the image effects are negligible. The plasma chamber is not simulated.
Important
The downloadable
versions of the CEA Saclay codes with the full functionalities will stay free
until september the 1st of 2009. After this date only trial versions will be
available for free download with limited functionalities.

purchase a new full version, you will need to send an e-mail to

romuald.duperrier@cea.fr.
This email has to describe the name of the code and the number of licences.
A key with a validity of 30 days will be sent to you with all the
informations for the payment. Once the payment is completed, you will receive a
new key with a validity of 2 years. Please read the licence terms for each code
(download pages) for more details. A licence per user is necessary .
