Masetti et al. 2006:
  • 27.4 mJy radio source in INTEGRAL error box
  • coincident with B~15.4 and z=0.142 galaxy MCG +04-48-002
  • prove that MCG +04-48-002 is the counterpart to the IGR source
  • contribution from NGC 6921 to the hard X-ray emission cannot be excluded.
  • IGR J20286+2544 is a starburst/H II galaxy at z=0.013, hiding a Seyfert 2 nucleus in the compton thick regime
Rodriguez et al. 2009:
  • 2 sources in Swift XRT image within INTEGRAL error
  • Src #1 coincident with MCG +04-48-002 the other with NGC 6921
  • 2 possible USNO-B1.0 sources within XRT error box of Src #1, only one seems well detected
  • Spectral analysis shows evidence for soft excesses in the two sources. Both are highly absorbed and Src #2 could then be a sey 2.
  • Probable contribution of both sources to the INTEGRAL source

  • Etimate of mass and accretion rate based on different methods
  • Correltion with bulge luminosity => M = 107.12 MSun and LEdd = 1045.22 erg/s
