Transportation:

 

Le Guichet RER station is the spot where free shuttles can bring you to l'Orme des Merisiers Saclay every 15' starting at 8 am.

 

 

 

To reach Le Guichet

 

1) From Paris :  Catch the RER B train ( RATP maps are here http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/carteparis.php  )

 

in direction of Orsay, getting off the train at Le Guichet station. Before going on the train look at the direction post on the platform, the stations are all listed. Those where the train will stop are enlightened, so make sure that the lamp nearby Le Guichet is ON.

 

If you are staying in Paris left bank, the main stations are St Michel, Luxembourg, Denfert Rochereau.

 

Exit at Le Guichet (approx. 35 minutes from Paris, 1h15 from Charles-de-Gaulle) and take the pedestrian underpass at the front of the train.

 

2) From Hotel d'Orsay go to the Guichet Station by foot following the map below:

 

 

 

 

Going to l'Orme des Merisiers – Saclay

 

To catch the free shuttle from Le Guichet, turn in the right street after the café ( rue du Guichet) then at the B point of the map below you will see a pedestrian ramp on the left leading you to rue Louise Weiss in which you stay on the left side – ignore the bus stations opposite the street - and go up that street about 100 meters to find a bus stop where the shuttle (with a CEA sign behind the window) will be waiting.

 

 

Get off the bus at the first stop which will be l'Orme des Merisiers. Cross the road and enter the CEA site to the Service de Physique Nucleaire (building 703). The meeting room is at first floor ,  #135.
