The international community is considering a future electron-positron collider, which would be the successor of LEP. For technical and economical reasons, it would not be circular, but rather made of two linear accelerator working head-on. A small group participates to the physics studies about the potential of such machines, and works with the technical divisions on dedicated detector R&D.
