How to go

- To Paris Observatory restaurant for lunch from IAP amphitheater:

Please turn left when going outside the Amphitheater. Then, enter the campus of Paris Observatory (see the walking directions on the map below) and follow the main road on your left until you see on your right the restaurant building (building 21 in the Paris Observatory map).We will be here to guide you.

 

- To salle Cassini (monday evening 19h):

If you come from IAP: please turn left when going outside the Amphitheater. Then, enter to the campus of Paris Observatory (see the walking directions on the map above) and follow the main road on your right until you see on your left the main historical building (Building Perrault, building 2 on the map). Enter this building and go to the first floor using the stairs. You will see immediately the Cassini Room.

If you come from Paris Observatory main entrance (77 avenue Denfert-Rochereau): the guards will have your name so you can enter. Follow the main road until you see on your left the main historical building (Building Perrault, building 2 on the map). Enter this building and go to the first floor using the stairs. You will see immediately the Cassini Room.

 

 

- To bateaux mouches (from Paris Observatory or IAP; 35mins; tuesday evening 20h):

First walk to the Denfert-Rocherau metro station. Then, please take metro line 6 from Denfert-Rocherau station to Trocadero station (Charles de Gaulle-Etoile direction). Next, at Trocadero station please change to metro line 9 and take it in the direction Marie de Montreuil until the Alma-Marceau station. Then, walk towards Alma place and enter the Port de la conference (see the detailed plans bellow). The bateaux-mouche will be here.

An alternative is to take Bus 68 in direction of Place de Clichy at Denfert Rochereau and to stop at Sèvres-Babylone. At Sèvres-Babylone take the Bus 63 in direction of Porte de la Muette and stop at Alma-Marceau.

 

- To Saint-Sulpice church (from Paris Observatory or IAP; 20-30 mins; wednesday evening 21h):

First walk to the Denfert-Rochereau metro station. Then, please take metro line 4 from Denfert-Rochereau station to Saint-Sulpice station (Porte de Clignancourt direction). Then walk, on the vieux colombier street and take the Bonaparte street on your right. We will arrive on the place in front of Saint-Sulpice church.
