ND-2007 will be held at the Acropolis Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the city of Nice, on the French Riviera. Nice is located in an exceptional natural site, at the crossroads between the Alps, Provence, and Italy, and is the fifth largest French city, with about 350,000 inhabitants. The Nice airport is the second busiest airport after Paris, with regular flights to many European cities.

Nice is a popular centre for tourism, the second largest in France. The city is best known for its five miles of beaches, its Promenade des Anglais bordering the Bay of Angels coastline, its cruise ship port, picturesque old town, flower market, parks and gardens, museums and galleries, its traditional Carnaval, etc. The famous town of Cannes and the Principality of Monaco can be reached in less than thirty minutes by car. Many wonderful hill-top perched villages, such as Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Eze, are also in the immediate surroundings.
