3D modeling of the Sun: from its core to its surface
A team from the Astrophysics Instrumentation & Modeling laboratory (CEA/CNRS/Université Paris Diderot) succeeded in modelling the effects of gravity waves in an extremely complete simulation of the Sun, from its nuclear core to its convective surface, and this in 3 dimensions.
