In recent times, it has become clear that inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering does not allow to fully
understand few fundamental issues about the nuclear partonic structure, such as the origin of the
EMC effect, i.e the modification of the bound nucleon’s inner structure with respect to the free
nucleon’s one. These difficulties can be overcomed considering a new generation of experiments at
high energy and high luminosity, done at JLab and programmed at the forthcoming EIC, involving
exclusive scattering processes off nuclear targets. Among them, deeply Virtual Compton Scattering is
a very promising direction for unveiling the 3 dimensional partonic structure in the coordinate
space. In our work, such process off an 4 He target is studied within a conventional nuclear physics
approach that considers state-of-the-art wave functions, accounting for realistic nucleon-nucleon
potential including three-body forces, is illustrated. In this talk, our results, concerning the partonic
structure of the whole nucleus and the bound proton, will be exposed.
