Oral presentations

All oral presentations will be allocated 20 minutes which include the time for discussion (usually 5 minutes).

One video projector will be provided in the auditorium, associated to a PC and using Powerpoint and PDF format. It also accommodates transparencies as well as paper printed in landscape format.

Mini Oral/Poster presentations

This will be organised as a guided tour of each poster session where each paper will have 5 minutes of oral presentation in front of the poster. This new way of presenting and promoting the poster session was succefully organised since few year in the annual IEEE NSS-MIC conferences. This will allow to have a short oral presentation.

Attendance at the poster sessions is organized around conference breaks. Authors are requested to setup their posters before the morning break of the day of their assigned poster session.

Each poster board have a mounting surface of dimensions: 120cm high by 240 cm wide. The posters are attached to the surface with push-pins. Material to attach the posters will be provided by the organizers.

The poster exhibit area will be adjacent to the break refreshment area. Authors are requested to be at their posters during their poster session.

Publications

The Conference Proceedings will publish all papers that have been accepted for oral or poster presentation and have effectively been presented.

A CD of the Proceedings will be shipped within one month after the conference to all participants containing texts as well as presentations and photos of the event.

Authors of such papers have, in addition, the possibility to submit them for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science (TNS) which will publish a special issue devoted to the 2003 Real Time Conference. Papers submitted to TNS are subject to a pair review process.

For both publications the format of the paper must comply with the IEEE editing rules. Please note that the pages must not be numbered and no header nor footer information are accepted. The deadlines for submission are :

  • The day before the paper presentation for the Proceedings
  • One week after the last day of the Conference for TNS

- Proceedings Editors : L.Reuter,
- TNS Editor : Jean-Pierre Dufey
