Miscellaneous :
Kennea et al. 2013 ATel 5553:
  • Swift XRT localisation -> 0.6" from NGC 330-070 massive star likely counterpart
  • Source is a probable Be-HMXB in the SMC associated with the globular cluster NGC 330
  • Spectral analysis -> power law with Γ~ 0.9 and NH2.5 x 1021 cm-2
  • Inspection of previous Swift data show no detection => outburst flux > 3 order of mag than quiescent flux
Schmidtke et al. 2013 ATel 5557:
  • Optical counterpart in OGLE II field -> Star 266703
  • light curve varies I=15.85 and 15.6
  • long-period modulation ~299 days
  • Periodogram analysis shows two significant periods: P=17.2 d (possibly orbital period) or its alias P=0.94 d (possibly non-radial pulsations of the Be star).
Coe et al. 2013 ATel 5631:
  • Swift/XRT and INTEGRAL detected a modulation in the X-ray flux at a period around 17d => consistent with Optical modulation
  • Type II outburst still ongoing 3 months after first detection
Coe et al. 2013 ATel 5662:
  • Swift/XRT and XMM-Newton observations => modulation at 5.05s
  • If Pulse period => at the edge of Be-HMXB in the Corbet diagram
