Miscellaneous :

Tomsick et al. 2008 ATel 1649:
  • Extremely hard Chandra spectrum Γ=-0.9
  • NH < 1.55 x1022 cm-2
Rodriguez et al. 2009:
  • Swift XRT spectrum shows a hard spectrum although Γ not consistent with the Chandra value.
  • Source is a probable HMXB
Tomsick et al. 2009:
  • No counterparts in catalogues but a faint Ks source is visible in 2MASS image.
  • Galactic source is favoured, with a slight preference for an HMXB
Masetti et al. 2010(A&A):
  • Optical spectroscopy of counterpart
  • R=19.5, Av ~ 3.1
  • Balmer emission lines at z=0, intrinsically blue spectrum => XRB
  • d<19 kpc
  • Spectral shape ressembles that of reddened LMXBs
  • Spectrum indicative of accretion disc dominating total optical emission
  • CV not compatible with large absorption and small disrtance to the source
  • LMXB
