Miscellaneous :

Malizia et al. 2011:ATel 3391
  • 2 potential X-ray sources in Swift/XRT, 1 in 90% IBIS error, the other in 99%
  • Source #1:
    • Not detected above 3 keV
    • Consistent the position of 1WGA J2355.9-1045 and also with an object listed in the Million Quasars Catalog (MILLIQUAS) with B and R ~19.0
    • z=1.1
    • Good X-ray spectral fit is obtained with a simple power law with Γ~1.9
  • Source #2:
    • Brightest of the two sources, still marginally detected above 3 keV
    • Compatible with USNO-A2.0 0750_21592353 (R ~11.9, B ~12.7), which is also 2MASS J23554001-1053567 (J ~10.3, H ~9.9, and K ~9.8), and SDSS J235540.01-105356.8 reported as a star in NED archive
    • SDSS J235539.87-105349.7 (classified as a galaxy) is also consistent with the XRT position.
Masetti et al. 2013 (A&A):
  • Optical / NIR observation + spectroscopy of counterpart (src #1)
  • Sey 1 at z=1.108
  • MBH=11 108 MSun
