The Laboratory for the Study and Development of Electronic Space Systems (LEDES) is seeking to strengthen its development team by recruiting an electronic CAD technician.
As part of a project team working on the design of future on-board instruments, you will be responsible for developing space electronics boards in compliance with the constraints of space methodologies (CNES and ESA standards).
Your main tasks will be :
- Analysis of project-related technical specifications.
- Enter and understand electronic schematics.
- Creation of new components and space-specific footprints.
- Place components in collaboration with the design team.
- Routing using electronic CAD tools in compliance with ECSS guidelines.
- Participation in design reviews.
- Edit manufacturing files and manage archiving.
- Management and enrichment of component libraries.
The development of the embedded electronic boards will be carried out in close collaboration with the LEDES design team and with the production manager in the Quality and Space Integration Laboratory.
As part of his/her work, the candidate will also develop electronic boards for test equipment associated with space electronic boards, maintaining a high level of rigor. In addition, the candidate will keep up to date with developments in ESA standards and electronic board design tools.

Candidate profile
You have a Bac+5 (Engineering School Diploma or equivalent) or a PhD (Bac+8), and are looking for initial experience.
Technical skills :
Holder of a higher diploma (BTS, BUT) in electronics, you have skills in CAD tools for electronics design. You have 1 to 2 years’ professional experience in a board routing design office, ideally in the space or aeronautics sector.
You are fluent in Word/Excel office software and have good drafting skills.
Mastery of Cadence and KiCad tools would be a plus.
Behavioral skills :
You have the ability to work as part of a project team, know how to interact with different people and report on your work.
You are methodical and rigorous, and able to demonstrate autonomy in your daily tasks.
You have a good level of technical English.
