La conférence internationale ‘8th Symposium on Large TPCs for Low Energy Rare Events’ se tiendra à l’APC du 5 au 7 décembre 2016

Dear colleague,We are glad to announce the 8th International Symposium on “large TPCs for low-energy rare event detection”, to be held in Paris on the 5th-7th of December 2016.
As in previous meetings of the series, the purpose is to discuss present and future projects using a large TPC for low energy, low background detection of rare events (low-energy neutrinos, neutrino-less double-beta decay, dark matter, solar axions,…), as well as on new concepts and technologies relevant to these searches. This year the symposium is accompanied by a half day session on neutrino from Supernovae.
The meeting does not have fee but registration at the web site is required.
