Your seminar is approaching. We will soon circulate an email announcing it. Could you send us an abstract?
From a practical point of view, we bring to your attention the following points about our seminar format.
- The whole event should not last more than 1 hour, typically 45 minutes of presentation plus 15 minutes of questions.
- You should devote the first third of your talk to an overview of your field that will be accessible to graduate students and non-expert researchers.
- We broadcast our seminars using Zoom. We also record them and share the video within our department. Let me know if you do not agree.
- Our set-up would be simplified if your slides could be converted into a portable format, such as PDF or Google Slides, so that we could use one of our computers. If you prefer using other formats, you will need to make sure that your computer has:
- an Eduroam Wifi account;
- an HDMI port (for the projector);
- a USB port (for the mic).
