On behalf of the "Espace de Structure et de réactions Nucléaires Théorique" (ESNT), the workshop entitled: "What's new in the calculations of the nuclear excitations and multipole resonances ?" will be held on 18-22 November at CEA-Saclay, Orme-des-Merisiers site.

The main goals of the workshop are:  
- providing a comprehensive overview of state-of-the-art microscopic models that describe collective modes in finite nuclei and their practical applications,
- identifying the quantities that can be evaluated using a diverse array of models and experimental data.
