Institut Pascal

The Core To Disk II program usually takes place at Institut Pascal (IPa). Our 2021 edition will be held online because of local restrictions regarding gatherings, due to the COVID19 pandemic.

A scientific program to learn, exchange knowledge, and collaborate

Only a few (2-3) talks are proposed each day, and most of the time is dedicated to foster collaborative ideas/work/discussion. IPa offers day-long free coffee, tea, and snacks. Several rooms with sofas, tables and blackboards for small gatherings are at the disposal of participants, as well as individual desks for everyone.

WiFi and communication

Wifi access is available throughout IPa. The collaborative information exchange will be done primarly using a dedicated SLACK space communicated to participants a few weeks before the kickoff of the program.

Lunches and dinner

In general for lunch we would go to the local restaurant of the university. It is a self-serve restaurant with a limited choice of meals every day but the menu changes daily.

In 2021, to foster interactions and limit large-crowd exposures, we will provide individual lunch-boxes at IPa. Please remember to let us know about allergies if any.

A core2disk dinner will be offered in a local restaurant, once per week, if the conditions allow it.
