Applications of superconductors in electrical engineering

Laboratoire GREEN - Université de Lorraine
Fri, May. 29th 2015, 13:30-15:00
Bat 130, pce 52 -- 7 à table + 3, CEA Paris-Saclay

The first part of this seminar presented by Pr. Douine will deal about applications of superconductors in electrical engineering that the GREEN laboratory aims to develop such as electrical motors, magnetic gears, and current limiters on electric grid. The second part presented by Dr. Berger will deal with the characterisation technics needed and developed in the lab, and some experiments concerning trapped field in bulks.
