Halim Ashkar, jeune chercheur récompensé par le prix H.E.S.S.
Le 11 novembre dernier, à la suite d’une réunion de collaboration avec les représentants de près de quarante institutions scientifiques du projet H.E.S.S. (High Energy Stereoscopic System), Halim Ashkar s’est vu décerner le « H.E.S.S. Prize ». Ce prix récompense deux fois par an un jeune scientifique pour sa contribution exceptionnelle au projet.

The 13th Trans-European School of High Energy Physics
The 13th Trans-European School of High Energy Physics will take place at the Svityaz Lake in the Volyn region of Ukraine from July 11 to July 19, 2019. The lecture program addresses Experimental Particle Physics, Standard Model and Beyond, Cosmology, Statistics and Instrumentation. The lectures are complemented by the practical sessions, discussion sessions and student-professor discussions. Students will present their projects during a dedicated conference at the end of the school.

Trans-European School of High Energy Physics
The Trans-European School of High Energy Physics will be held from July 9th to July 16th, 2013 in the Resort "Vognyk" in Kharkov Region, Ukraine. The TES-HEP school brings together European students with the basic aim of teaching them various aspects of high-energy physics, mainly focusing on experimental particle physics. General lectures are followed by seminars. The target audience is young students at the end of the Master studies or at the first years of their PhD thesis.

Ecole prédoctorale franco-asiatique sur le LHC aux Houches
La première école pré-doctorale franco-asiatique de physique des particules se tiendra du 15 au 26 septembre au centre de l'Ecole des Houches (http://w3houches.ujf-grenoble.fr), en France. Le CNRS IN2P3 et le CEA Irfu organisent, avec la participation d'organismes de recherche et d'universités asiatiques, une série d'écoles qui se tiendront alternativement en France et en Asie.
