The winding laboratory makes it possible to develop and test all the tools required to produce some prototypes of coils (often quadripoles, but also solenoids and double pancakes). Depending on the materials used and their associated heat treatment, the insulation laboratory can develop and test the most suitable (electrical) insulation technique.
