About me ...

I am a postdoc fellow at the University of Surrey, not so far from London (UK).

I am working on simulations of galaxies and star clusters. More specifically, I try to understand how the evolution of galaxies thought the formation of structures like spiral arms and bars, and the interaction between galaxies modifies the properties of the interstellar medium, the formation of stars, and the evolution of star clusters.

To do so, I use hydrodynamical simulations of galaxies at high resolution, to capture the physical conditions in which star forming clouds are formed. For my work on star clusters, I am using N-body simulations to monitor the evolution of every star in the cluster. In both cases, I take advantage of high-performance computing technics and supercomputing facilities like graphics cards (GPUs) and tier-0 supercomputers.

And from time to time, I go back to the white board for some analytical fun.
