The Jaffé Award from the French Academy of Sciences (Fondation de l'Institut de France) was given to David Elbaz.
The HPC Wire: Best Enabled Science, SuperComputing 2017 award was given to Allan-Sacha Brun.
Francisco Jose Iguaz Gutierrez was distinguished with the award of an Enhanced CEA-Eurotalents fellowship (PCOFUND-GA-2013-600382) for the period 2017-2019.
Maarten Boonekamp was distinguished by the award of an ANR funding on electroweak physics at the LHC, for the period 2017-2021.

The 2016 Innovation Fiber Award was presented by Optics Valley to Olivier Besida.
1/1371st of the "BreakThrough prize 2016 in Fundamental Physics", awarded jointly to the Daya Bay, Kamland, K2K, T2K, Sudbury Neutrino Observatory and Super-Kamiokande projects was given to Denis Calvet, Marco Zito and Edoardo Mazzucato.
The Young Researcher Award, SF2A, has been awarded to Frédéric Bournaud.

The prize of 'Nauka/Interperiodica' of the Russian Academy of Sciences, for the series of review articles published in the journal ECHAIA: "Physics of elementary particles and atomic nuclei" has been awarded to Egle Tomasi.
The SF2A Thesis Prize has been awarded to Antoine Strugarek for his thesis entitled "Turbulence, transport and con-finement: from tokamaks to the magnetism of stars".
