The new ArTéMiS camera has been successfully installed on APEX* (Atacama Pathfinder Experiment). APEX is a 12 metre diameter telescope located at 5100m altitude in the Atacama Desert and operating at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths - between infrared light and radio waves in the electromagnetic spectrum - which is a valuable tool for astronomers to scan the cold universe. This new instrument has just delivered a spectacular and very detailed view of the Cat's Foot nebula.
