A new type of neutrino oscillation observed in the T2K experiment
On the occasion of the EPS-HEP 2013 conference, a major event in high-energy physics taking place in Stockholm from 18 to 24 July, the T2K international collaboration, in which physicists from the CEA[1] and the CNRS[2] are participating, announces the discovery of a new type of neutrino oscillation corresponding to the transformation of a muonic neutrino into an electronic neutrino.
