First fine measurement of "cosmic fog" in the nearby Universe

Researchers at the Leprince-Ringuet Laboratory (CNRS/Polytechnic School) have made the first measurement of the intensity of diffuse extragalactic light in the nearby Universe, a veritable photon fog in which the Universe has been bathed since its formation.
